Hari Jadi Best.

Because birthdays get harder each year, I decided that this year I would embrace every moment of it. Started at twelve am sharp at home after reunion dinner. Got home, feeling even more hyper and awake and celebrated in my own way. Koay came over and handed me THE thing.

Yes, THE thing that I had already seen and used once. THE thing that he took home and re-wrap it. THE thing that came with a handmade written card. He's a kind. Definitely a kind.

At this point of my life, I thank God that this verse *points to the top header* is a promise from Him to me, and to all of you :)

No updates because I have been so busy enjoying every bit of this season and embracing the hard truth.

Manual Off.

Eve of Chinese New Year.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter, you would have already known that I did quite a lot this morning. Washed two cars, vacuumed one and polished glass windows of one. And I woke up earlier than my working days. *pats self*

Anyways, after that we went to shop at Queens for a while cos I forgot that I needed a black tube for my dress. Haha. And then this happened. So spontaneous.

Driving lesson for free for Van. But Koay insisted that I try first. And I did. And all I can say is that NO MANUAL CAR FOR ME. Not now. Not ever. He wanted me to know learn so that I can be behind his wheels when he's tired, like today when he had only 3 hours of sleep. He tries to take as many small sleeps when he can as it's going to be a long day today. Poor thing. And Van behind, she sleeps everytime she's in a moving vehicle. NO KIDDING! So yeah, manual car drivers are insanely hardworking. *salutes*

So, Van's turn. I almost puked when I was inside. So, I stood by the roadside and watched them. So smart me :) beginner semua mesti macam ni. I pun sama.

Corporate Appreciation Night.

Eastin Hotel organized a party to appreciate all the corporate that has been faithfully using their service for the past years, and Holiday Tours & Travel Penang was invited to be part of it. We even sponsored a trip for two to Cameron Highlands. So, needless to say, I was chosen to attend this amazing dinner with my two bosses, Head of Sales and Head of Sales and Tour! Such honor I had :)

I was reluctant to go at first because my college peeps were having "reunion" that same night! But cannot escape! So, still go la. Did not regret for sure. Haha.

Theme was Old Shanghai Night means we've gotta wear cheongsam! But we were not told.

This kind of event sure got Yee Sang. I never know how to eat and never will like to eat this.

But still had to take some. So, I took more salmon than whatever that's the rest. Haha.

Double Boiled Kampung Chicken soup with Ginseng. BEST SOUP EVER EATEN IN HOTEL! Okay, maybe the second best since the really best that I ever had was in my sister's wedding! That one also double boiled soup with black chicken or something!

Steamed duck with dried scallops and fish maw. This one also very awesome. The rest of other foods I never take d because the lucky draw took place and then Kumar happened. Haha.

Never.get.anything.at.all. *don't believe in luck*

I have to say that the performances throughout the entire night was amazingly great. Though they lipsing to the the songs played, their quick changing of costumes and dance moves were awesome. And their costumes not like all one piece and doesn't look easy to be put on in such a short time.

And then we had this beer drinking contest for ladies. But because not all ladies drink and some are vegans, they changed it to a glass of coke. The lady in the center won this challenge and then challenged one random dude from the crowd for beer. And won! Overall, she won a hotel stay worth RM5000! Crazy alcoholic girl.

Venessa Diamonds Fashion Show. Saw one that I really liked, and for now can dream about it only. Heh.

E-Table.

Ordered this online a month ago. Finally, came when I least expected it! I paid RM55 for this one and two weeks after paying for it, I found another exactly the same one online at RM49! I should feel geram, but surprisingly I was calm as anything! I would say it's good value for money.

Now I can watch movies on the bed, Facebook stalk people, edit songs, blogging and play games without feeling sore at anybody area like my shoulders/elbows. It even comes with the cooling fan and in-built mouse pad. Pretty cool for me :)

So easy to keep sumore. Can carry anywhere. Can fit it in my orange baby and NOT heavy at all. Woots.

fireBRANDS going around the neighborhood, giving out CNY goodies to folks and prayed for them. Broken chinese, hokkien prayers were heard. But all that matters nothing because we all knew God understood us and heard all our mixed-language-prayers.  From 17th floor to the ground floor, we walked down the stairs and every once a while, we sang out loudly "Chin chia ho, lai si Ya So chin chai ho" (So good, Jesus is so good).

Second Month.

Ten more months left to a new year. Seriously, time slow down!

One of my favorite months no doubt. This year marks another year of accomplishment, getting better in handling tough situations and having an increased two digits. That last part is no fun.

Good thing I look younger than my real age. That, is fun. And people thinks Koay looks older than me. Another plus point to fun.

So, yesterday, i have decided to get back into floorball/exercise mode. After 6 long months of complete resting with no physical doings, I think it's time for me to get back into my sport shoes. I am actually pretty excited. The first "physical" is taking place tomorrow. HIKE UP TO PENANG HILL.

*eyes wide open* I was telling Koay that when I suggested hiking, I was talking about Monkey Beach or Kerachut. And then, this boy decided that hike up Penang Hill more fun. Okay.. here's one problem. I haven't been exercising for 6 months and my stamina whatsoever is gone. Like totally gone. I should have just suggested running in Botanical Garden. *facepalms*

Since I've agreed and plans are made, I shall make sure I reach to the top. Wait, I think they will hike till the top la. They usually do. And this will be my first time hiking all the way up. I shall persevere and push myself. MENTAL MESTI KUAT.

On another thing, just yesterday my preggo sister asked me what I was gonna do on Valentine's Day. I just gave her that surprise look and told her that we don't celebrate V-Day. Why should we or anyone actually? Everything is super expensive and it's not even a special day that brings any special meaning to us. Haha. Not that theres something wrong to those who celebrates. This is just purely my opinion. So no, no V-Day for us.

Chinese New Year in nine days. Who would've thought that it falls on the same day I was born. Double the angpows? Oh yess! This is a good month :)

Starting this month two with our first reunion dinner over at my uncle's place tonight :) Steamboat ftw!
